1. The Void, or "Abyss", was an area beyond Arda's atmosphere which had existed before the creation of Eä. Eru Ilúvatar dwelt in the Timeless Halls, which were separate from the Void. Before the creation of Eä, Melkor searched the Void thoroughly for the Flame Imperishable, the source of Eru's creative power, but was unsuccessful. It is believed that many creatures originated in the Void due.

That Temple of Void are so unafraid to use leads, or other melodic details like the organs and synths, is a huge part of why I was engaged throughout the entire 50 minutes of the experience, and in some instances, like the instrumental "To Carry This Corpse Evermore", they'll go even further, with an acoustic folk piece that feels, in its own.
